Trellis

Providing a promenade along the Great Lawn, the 143-foot-long formal garden trellis, supported by granite columns, is draped with seven species of vines. The trellis was designed by Halvorson Design Partnership and features an open dome in the center. The trellis lighting design by Ross Miller enhances the Park each evening. trellis with vine

Ironwork & fences

fence

All of the ironwork in the Park was custom designed by Richard Duca of Duca Designs. The drainage grates and the unique iron fencing are elegant permanent accessories to the changing natural landscape of the Park.

Pavilions

Two airy iron, copper and glass pavilions house the escalator entrance to the Garage and the four season café. Both structures were designed by the Garage architect, Ellenzweig Associates of Cambridge, to bring the outside in and to reduce shadows in the Park.
